Pressure Calibrator NATA Certification

Features of our calibrator service include:

  • NATA accreditation covering vacuum to 120,000 kPa gauge pressure with least uncertainty of:
0.3 Pa from 0.1 Pa to 1500 Pa
    0.0025% (25 ppm) + 0.3 Pa
        from 1.5 to 20 kPa
    0.002% (20 ppm) + 0.3 Pa
        from 20 to 2500 kPa
    0.006% (60 ppm) from 2.5 to 120 MPa.
  • Absolute pressure from 0.5 kPa abs. to 120,000 kPa abs. with least uncertainty of 0.01 kPa absolute.
  • Testing of low gauge pressure instruments down to 0.1 Pa with a least uncertainty of 0.3 Pa using our inhouse developed dual piston standard.
  • Testing of instruments with electrical outputs.
  • Experience with testing and adjustment of many different models. We may be able to adjust some instruments that other laboratories may not.
  • Familiar with Beamex, Druck, Fluke, Crystal, Wika, Ametek, Si, Heise, Halstrup, Vaisala, Digitron products and many more.
  • A detailed clear to read NATA certificate providing more than the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Readings prior to calibration adjustments are given.
  • Uncertainty values calculated at each test pressure.
  • A statement of conformance to the manufacturer’s accuracy specification.
  • Willingness to accommodate any of your testing requirements.
  • Electrical ranges tested by Scientific Devices Australia or Power Parameters when requested.
  • Fast turnaround when you need it.
  • Readiness to solve problems that users may experience.
  • New MSA Test Method 1 & 2 followed as a test procedure for most instruments.

Re-calibration intervals:

The recommended re-calibration interval for calibrator’s used in NATA laboratories is
1 year.

The re-calibration period should relate to the level of use, instrument design, the accuracy expected by the user and the drift in readings observed from one calibration to the next. We can advise what might be suitable to you.
