Randall Anderson - Laboratory Signatory
Randall graduated from the University of Melbourne in Mechanical Engineering in 1981. In 1984 he joined the Budenberg company where he established the first commercial dead-weight tester calibration facility in Australia. In 1994 he established Australian Pressure Laboratory specialising in pressure calibration alone. He is a foundation member of the Metrology Society of Australia and since 1998 has been a NATA technical assessor. More recently Randall has been asked to serve on a technical advisory committee for NATA.
Rowan Anderson - Laboratory Signatory
Rowan graduated from the University of Melbourne in Mechanical Engineering in 1986 and spent 10 years as a senior process engineer for Kodak Australasia. He joined APL in 1997 and became a signatory for the laboratory in 1998. In 2000 he completed an uncertainty course with the National Measurement Institute and was invited to become a NATA technical assessor.
Liam Shanahan - Laboratory Technician
Liam graduated from RMIT in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Science (Computer Science) in 2005 and spent 3 years as a project engineer for General Motors. He joined APL in 2009 to help improve capacity for meeting an increasing demand. He has completed pressure and uncertainty courses with the National Measurement Institute.
Peta McGregor - Administration and Accounts
Peta has been the administrative backbone of the laboratory since its inception. She focuses on keeping the laboratory operating efficiently.
