Accredited calibrations down to 0.2 Pa absolute (1.5 mTorr) for vacuum gauges including Pirani and Capacitive Diaphragm Gauges (CDGs)

APL is one of only a small number of laboratories in the world with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited capability in vacuum down to 0.2 Pa absolute (1.5 mTorr), utilising a Vacuum Comparison System (VCS) that was designed in-house by our team of engineers.

A turbomolecular pump rotates at 80,000 rpm to achieve base pressures in our VCS down to 0.0002 Pa, ensuring high quality zeroing and adjustment of vacuum sensors.

Testing in the medium/high vacuum range is performed following ISO 3567 - Vacuum gauge calibration by direct comparison with a reference gauge. Click here for more information on APL's test methods.
